Omid- This is a clip of the ASUC elections on the UC Berkeley campus. The Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC) was founded on March 16, 1887. Today, it is the largest student government organization in the United States. It disperses more than a million dollars in funds to hundreds of student groups, publications, and projects.
Every year, there are elections for various offices such as positions in the Student Senate, Student Advocate's Office, Attorney General, etc. The Berkeley campus becomes alive more than ever, with people hanging out on Sproul and advertising themselves or their friends for office!
